Sushi Note — a Sherman Oaks gem boasting omakase-style meals and a sophisticated wine list — will open another location at 421 N Rodeo Dr. A6, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, according to a liquor license filed with The State of California and confirmed by Co-Owner Dave Gibbs.
Gibbs, who opened the first Sushi Note locale back in 2018 with the hopes of normalizing sushi and wine pairings, is also the co-owner of Augustine Wine Bar, Mirabelle Wine Bar, Augustine Wine Car, and Syd Norman’s Pour House.
Andrew Paxson of Simple Things restaurant serves as a partner at the Sherman Oaks Sushi Note and is listed in the liquor license as a core member of the incoming operation, though in which capacity, it’s currently unclear.
