Winston-Salem appears to have a new Outback Steakhouse on the way. The company has filed for a new location at 5421 University Parkway, according to permits filed with the city of Winston-Salem.
The recently filed permits indicate plans to build a new restaurant. As of now, it is unclear when the spot would open, though it appears the restaurant is in the early stages of development.
Outback Steakhouse has one other location in Winston-Salem at 505 Highland Oaks Drive. It also has a handful of other locations throughout the Triad area.
The Australian-inspired chain, owned and operated by Bloomin’ Brands, serves items like steak, seafood, burgers, chicken and ribs. It has more than 1,000 locations internationally.
