Bagel Station has taken over ownership of Kernersville Bagel, found at 931 S. Main St. in Kernersville.

This will be the third location for Bagel Station, which opened in Winston-Salem in 1990. Kernersville Bagel has been open since 2021.

Bagel Station co-owners Marc Singer and Paul Davis are looking forward to the expansion to a new city in the Triad, according to a release posted on the location’s Instagram page earlier this month.

“This is a great opportunity to continue to honor the Fiore’s hard work by uniting our two concepts,” Davis said in the release.

Fomenick and Bradyn Fiore, the owners of Kernersville Bagel, made the decision to transfer ownership due to family reasons.

“This is sad for us,” Bradyn said in the release. “It does feel like letting your child go, in a way. But we are equally excited that the store will live on in years to come.”

The Kernersville Bagel menu will remain as is for the time being, though new items will be added over time. Bagel Station will also offer their loyalty program to customers at the new location, and there will be online ordering offered through the Bagel Station website.

Bagel Station is known for New York-style bagels and offers classic bagel flavors as well as unique flavors like cinnamon maple bacon and cheddar jalapeno.

“We continue to be humbled by the community’s support of Bagel Station after all these years,” Singer said in the release. “We are looking forward to bringing all we’ve learned and accomplished these many years to the Kernersville community, too.”
