A new Popeyes is heading to 4015 Precision Way in High Point.
Construction is underway at the site in the Wendover Crossing shopping center, according to the Triad Business Journal.
The fried chicken spot will neighbor Cagney’s Kitchen, Discount Tire, Mattress Warehouse and a Walmart Neighborhood Market.
The new build will be about 3,080 square feet, and the finished Popeyes is expected to have both a restaurant and drive-thru, according to the Business Journal.
Dev Restaurants, a Greensboro-based company, is behind the new franchise location. It already operates a handful of other local Popeyes, as well as some Subways and Qdoba restaurants in the Triad.

A timeline for opening is unknown at this time. However, it appears that construction is still in the early stages and it will likely be some time before the restaurant is prepared to open.
