Ace No. 3 is bringing its classic burgers, shakes and beer to a 1,780-square-foot space in Uptown next year.

The spot, expected to open next summer, will take over the spot formerly home to Sukoshi on the ground level of One South at 101 S. Tryon Street, according to Axios Charlotte.

The small space is expected to have limited dine-in and patio seating, but it will be designed with a pick-up window so it can focus on to-go orders.

Ace No. 3 has a simple menu, featuring three burgers (The ACE, The Hangover and No. 3), as well as a build-your-own-burger option. Sides include French fries, onion rings, sweet potato tots and coleslaw. The menu also offers shakes, alcoholic shakes called “boozees,” and beer.

“We’re still committed to our motto and philosophy of ‘less is more’ and simplicity when it comes to a better burger,” co-founder Paul Manley told Axios Charlotte.

Ace No. 3 is part of High Tide Hospitality’s portfolio. High Tide is helmed by Andrew Chapman and Manley, who opened the first Ace No. 3 in 2019 in Belmont Village. Since then, they have added two more locations: Concord Mills and Myers Park. The Uptown location will be the fourth for the brand.

High Tide Hospitality’s portfolio also features local brands Sea Level NC and The Waterman Fish Bar.
