Milkster Nitrogen Creamery, a unique ice cream experience that uses liquid nitrogen, is opening a new location in Jacksonville at 3853 Hendricks Ave.

This will be the company’s first location in Northeast Florida and second overall in Florida, according to the Florida Times-Union. Franchise owner Kristy Iuliano tells What Now Jacksonville that the new site will move into the redeveloped Miramar Plaza near Emerson Road in late spring/ early summer 2023. Milkster Nitrogen Creamery is also working on new locations in Clearwater, FL; Charlotte, NC; Windsor, CO; Greenville, SC; and Georgia. The Michigan-based company already has five locations, including one in Lakeland, FL.

When the new Jacksonville location opens, customers can expect delicious ice cream made from liquid nitrogen at-321 degrees Fahrenheit. Some ice cream flavors served at Milkster include home-cooked salted caramel, rich truffle chocolate, Madagascar vanilla bean, pumpkin, and a lot more. On top of the delicious flavors, the company also partners with local companies to create new flavors. Milkster Nitrogen Creamery has also partnered with Hope Water Project to help the Pokot people of Western Kenya.

“At Milkster Nitrogen Creamery, it’s our desire to create meaningful and memorable moments for the entire family,” according to the company’s website. “We want your visit to be an experience at every level, from the lesson in sharing with others to a product that we hope will bring lots of ohhh and ahhhs. We use liquid nitrogen to custom make every order of “nicecream” while you wait, this provides a super smooth texture while eliminating the need for extra preservatives and emulsifires. We strive to use the most organic, natural ingredients available.”
