A new spot for fishy delicacies is coming to Brookline.

Brookline News reports that Florida-based gourmet grocery store Marky’s Caviar is eyeing space for a café and retail shop at 420 Harvard St, right next to Tatte.

Founded in 1983 by Ukrainian immigrant Mark Zaslavsky and his partner Mark Gelman, Marky’s started out as a small Miami deli before evolving into a premier purveyor of fine foods.

The brand’s offerings now include truffles, foie gras, cheeses, and more, with eight locations in Florida and New York.

The licensing documents for Marky’s Boston reveal that the new location will bring with it a luxurious selection of fine foods, including caviar, truffles, artisanal cheeses, and curated gift boxes perfect for special occasions.

A representative for Marky’s told What Now Boston that the store will offer fast delivery during the day, a service exclusive to the Boston location.

In addition to the retail offerings, Marky’s Boston will include a café serving a specially curated menu of small bites and caviar flights, featuring only the finest ingredients. Exclusive caviar tastings and other events will offer guests an immersive culinary experience.

Marky’s is also planning to introduce its premium caviar to Boston’s top restaurants, expanding its reach and accessibility throughout the city.

The store is set to open in February 2025.
