St. Petersburg’s EDGE District is currently awaiting the launch of a new boutique hotel, the Moxy Hotel by Marriott, which is expected to open in early 2024. Recent coverage by St. Pete Rising reveals that the hotel’s ground floor will be home to a cafe called Rose’s Coffee Bar.

The Moxy Hotel is part of the 1.6-acre Edge Collective, behind which are the Wurzak Hotel Group, PTM Partners, and DoveHill Capital Management. The Rose’s Coffee Bar brand currently operates another location in Fort Lauderdale’s Dalmar Hotel, also developed by the Wurzak Hotel Group.

“Rose’s will offer all of your favorite espresso-based beverages, such as lattes and cappuccinos, along with nitro coffee, cold brew, and drip coffee,” reads the St. Pete Rising coverage. “Like the Fort Lauderdale outpost of Rose’s, the St. Pete location will use coffee beans from Philadelphia-based La Colombe Coffee Roasters.”

Rose’s will also offer breakfast and lunch menus.

What Now reached out on Monday to Jake Wurzak, president of the Wurzak Hotel Group and Founder & CEO of DoveHill Capital Management. Wurzak was not immediately available for comment.
