Popular restaurant Taqueria Zafritas offers a menu of homemade tacos and more in the Farmer’s Market at 5108 15th Street in Bradenton. The restaurant is now preparing to expand with a second location.

After discovering plan review paperwork recently submitted by the restaurant, What Now reached out to owner Hipolito Zafra to inquire on plans for the restaurant. Zafra was not immediately available for comment, but another representative confirmed the news of a second location in the works.

Taqueria Zafritas’s menu features tacos with protein choices that include Asada, Pollo, Pastor, and Chorizo. Other dishes include Tostadas, Chilies Rellenos, Flautas, Quesadillas, and Nachos.

Taqueria Zafritas’s representative told What Now that the same menu could be expected at the second location, which will seat 20-25 guests.

The representative was not available for further comment (the restaurant had just hit its lunch rush). No projected opening date for a second Taqueria Zafritas is currently available.
