The latest dining sensation dominating both the food scene and the news cycle is getting ready to lay roots in DC. Wonder, a unique food hall experience that invites customers to indulge in a wide variety of cuisine, is coming to Cleveland Park this year, reports Eater Washington DC.

The revolutionary concept, which has already established a formidable presence in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania, will be opening a location at 3519 Connecticut Avenue NW. The space previously housed Weygandt Wines, which closed in April of 2024.

An opening timeline is not currently available for Wonder’s Cleveland Park location, however the establishment is set to open at some point in 2025.

Wonder is changing the way that diners think about food ordering and delivery by allowing customers to select dishes from a variety of concepts and cuisine styles during a single transaction. The food hall has struck up high-profile partnerships with an impressive selection of celebrity chefs, including Bobby Flay and Marcus Samuelsson.

Founded in 2018 by Marc Lore, Wonder has made an enormous splash in a short period of time. Propelled by a staggering array of food and a commitment to sustainability, the concept has spread to 35 locations, with several more in the works.
