According to a recent press release, Potbelly is expanding its footprint in San Antonio.

“Amid its U.S. expansion beyond its Chicago roots, the iconic neighborhood sandwich shop signed an all-new development agreement in South-Central Texas alongside its existing franchisee, Dora Braun, to bring four new restaurants to the area,” the release states.

“A successful Potbelly franchisee for over ten years, Dora has elected to make a significant reinvestment in Potbelly to bring four new shops to Midland-Odessa, San Angelo, and San Antonio,” it continues.

“Dora is leveraging her decade of success as a Potbelly operator to reinvest and set her sights on expanding the brand’s footprint to meet the increased demand for segment-leading sandwich brands like Potbelly in a key Southern market.”

An address for the San Antonio location has not been shared yet and an opening date has not been announced. Stay tuned for updates.
