A new pizzeria blending American and Indian flavors is coming soon to the southern suburbs of Sacramento.

Pizza Club recently applied for a liquor license with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to serve beer and wine at 6427 Mack Rd in Florin. The new eatery will be located in the same strip as The Shrimp Lover Sacramento and Crazy Fruit & Ice Cream Trujillo.

Owner Gurmeet Pannu told What Now Sacramento that Pizza Club’s menu will feature a variety of creative Indian-American pizzas. Offerings include unique pies like chicken tandoori and achari paneer, a flavor-packed pizza topped with mozzarella and cubes of paneer, a fresh and mild-flavored Indian cheese.

It’s going to be Indian aromas, flavors, and spices,” Pannu said.

This isn’t Pannu’s first culinary venture. He also owns Chaat of India, a traditional Indian restaurant located nearby on Mack Rd.

He hopes to open Pizza Club in the coming weeks.
