Prosper is poised to become a DFW dining destination, bolstered by an assist from the Alora Hospitality Group. The ambitious restaurant group will be opening a new concept called 1902 Prosper in the neighborhood later this year, reports Local Profile.
The restaurant, which will feature a menu crafted by chef Amy DiBiase, will be opening in the former home of the Prosper Wine House, located at 209 West Broadway Street. Alora anticipates opening 1902’s doors this summer, though relatively extensive (and expensive) renovations are required to realize the hospitality group’s vision for the space.
Expounding on that vision, Alora’s co-owner Jason Young states: “We believe the community deserves an elevated dining experience that has great service, great food and a place to gather.”
Prosper has undergone considerable growth over the past several years and Young and his partners are eager to be a part of the local community. He explains that the space was too good to pass up, saying: ““We knew this was the right place. This building is stunning — it’s a beautiful space.”
1902 Prosper strives to combine fine dining with a warm, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere.
