A new convenience store is proposed to be built at a space on Buford Highway.

The store is planned for 3735 Buford Hwy NE, according to a recent building permit application with Gwinnett County. The new construction would be on an approximately 1-acre site at the corner of Buford Highway and Pleasant Hill Road.

The developer of the project is listed as Moez Hasni, a veteran of the restaurant, retail and hospitality scene. He is also the founder of the chicken-wing restaurant Urban Wings.

It’s not yet clear what convenience store the new Buford Highway development would be, or if the project would include fuel pumps.

Duluth is northeast of Atlanta.
