A restaurant supply and wholesale food store is expanding to metro Atlanta for the first time.

CHEF’STORE has signed a lease at City Center Crossing, a retail center in Sandy Springs. The store sells kitchen supplies and ingredients like produce and meats, packaging and paper materials, glassware, hardware, utensils and cleaning products.

It is expected to open by the end of 2024, according to a news release. The lease was executed by First National Realty Partners.

The nearly 28,000-square-foot space used to be occupied by the grocery store Lidl. It is next to the sports facility D1 Training.

Owned by US Foods, CHEF’STORE is designed to be a one-stop shop for not only restaurant operators and food-service professionals, but home chefs as well. There are about 90 locations across 13 states. According to the website, new CHEF’STORE locations are also planned for North Carolina, Virginia and Oregon.
