This Saturday will be full of music, Cajun and Creole, as the Lowcountry Cajun Festival is back in James Island County Park. It is a day to celebrate seafood and Louisiana cuisine with Zydeco music beats. So, gather all the family members for a memorable day!

Louisiana culture has Zydeco music and delectable Cajun and Creole foods. The Lowcountry Cajun Festival is a celebration of Louisiana culture. Visitors will enjoy music, seafood like crawfish and alligator, and other common festival foods.

It is an all-inclusive event where people can come and spend the day with their friends and family. A plethora of food and craft vendors will grace the venue. Attendees will have options to eat, dance, and shop all day!

Event Schedule

The festival day will be filled with music performances and a separate small stage for children’s events. The festival will start at 12 pm and the music events will begin at 1 pm.

  • 1 – 2:15 pm – Blackcat Zydeco featuring Dwight Carrier
  • 2:30 – 4 pm – Corey Arceneaux & the Zydeco Hot Peppers
  • 4:30 – 6 pm – Ruben Moreno’s Zydeco Re-evolution

While these marvelous Zydeco music performances will be going on, two more programs will happen on a separate stage. From 1 to 2 pm, there will be a children’s reptile program by Friends of Coastal SC. The program is named ‘Who Calls the Swamp Home.’ After this, there will be a Cajun Festival Eating contest at 2:30 pm.

Cajun Festival Tickets

Tickets for the 2025 Lowcountry Cajun Festival are available online for $33.33 per vehicle. A maximum of 15 people are allowed per vehicle to enter with this ticket. Those who wish to purchase tickets on-site will have to pay $40 per vehicle.

Entry into the park is free for Gold Pass holders. Gold Pass will not be available on-site, and people should already have it issued. This pass allows people to enjoy a full year of different programs and discounted entries at the park.

Festival Details

Food, drinks, and craft souvenirs will be available for visitors to purchase and enjoy the day. For alcoholic beverages, attendees are expected to carry their IDs. Pets and outside eatables are prohibited at the event.

Charleston County Park does not support the use of tobacco products, therefore, smoking is prohibited in the festival premises. In case someone changes their plan after purchasing festival tickets, they can visit the official site to learn about the cancellation and refund policy.

Accessible restrooms and parking will be available for the convenience of visitors. So, there is no more reason to miss this unique festival. Dress up in comfortable attire and enjoy the Saturday with family, eating and dancing all day!
