Seatown Rub Shack & FishFry is turning into a new seafood spot called Mr. Fish and will give a different set of options for locals.

It was reported by Seattlemag.com and Seattlemet.com that the restaurant at 2010 Western Avenue is rebranding and will sell seafood like Dungeness crab and oysters. The current restaurant also sells chowder, as well fish-fry dishes like fish and chips and fish tacos. It will also serve drinks and have a happy hour.

The owner, Tom Douglas Restaurants, currently manages Half Shell, Place Kitchen, NEB, Serious Pie, Lola, The Carlile Room and Dahlia Bakery. Seatown is in the downtown area at the corner of Western Avenue and Virginia Street.

The restaurant recently took to Instagram to announce the rebranding and new look.

“Ahoy! We are chippin’ away at a fresh new look! Our indoor dining room is closed. However, our patio is open and we are serving our full menu inside of our sister restaurant, Half Shell,” the post said. It went on to say the business will welcome customers back with an “updated space.”

The restaurant plans to open in May. When contacted, representatives from Tom Douglas Restaurants did not respond for comment.
