According to a recently submitted permit application, Umiya Sushi plans to renovate one of its restaurants in San Antonio.
Located at 4384 Sherwood Way, the eatery is neighbored by establishments such as Alamo Cafe, Milwaukee Tool, and Prosperity Bank.
What Now San Antonio briefly spoke with one of the restaurant’s owners, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight, revealing that renovations to the existing 8,050-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on June 25 and finish on September 21, and will cost an estimated $220,000 to complete.
How the updates will affect the eatery’s hours of operation has not been made clear. Stay tuned for updates.
