Byran Fort and Taylor Preston are aiming to build an eight-story, 22,900-square-foot hotel at 616 Ewing St. in Pie Town, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

The spot is expected to feature 204 rooms, meeting areas, wellness spaces and restaurant and beverage locations. As of now, the hotel is still in the early stages of development and an opening timeline has not been announced. Demolition of the building at the site and subsequent construction are still to come, meaning a delivery date is still relatively distant at this time.

The paperwork is filed under 616 Ewing Partners, a group managed by Fort and Preston. Both investors have extensive experience over the last few years on the hospitality and development scene in Nashville. They are also building a retail development on Ewing Avenue in addition to the planned hotel.

What Now Nashville could not obtain a comment from the ownership team prior to the time of publication. The Business Journal got in contact with Fort, who declined to provide a comment.
