Community Goods, a trendy cafe located in Los Angeles’ Beverly Grove neighborhood, is getting ready to open a new location in Brentwood at 11911 San Vicente Blvd, near the corner of San Vicente and Montana Avenue.
Since its opening in February 2023, it has become a hotspot for coffee enthusiasts and social media influencers alike. The cafe’s minimalist design and square logo have made it a favorite backdrop for Instagram and TikTok posts, contributing to its viral popularity. Now, Community Goods is getting ready to expand to a second location, set to open in a back space of The Lawn, a shopping center currently under renovation.
While there’s no visible signage yet, a floor plan of the center confirms the cafe’s future home, also first reported by ToddRickAllen. The Brentwood outpost of Community Goods is expected to offer a streamlined menu featuring coffee drinks, breakfast sliders, turkey and tuna sandwiches, various toasts, and banana bread, mirroring the offerings that have made the original a local favorite. It’s unclear when this location will open.
The Lawn is a newly reimagined open-air retail and office complex designed to serve as a modern community hub. Developed by Anderson Real Estate with architectural work by Montalba Architects and landscaping by ACLA, the project blends retail, office, and lifestyle elements with a strong emphasis on California’s indoor-outdoor living.
The site features ground-level retail, upper-level office space, and three levels of underground parking for convenience. The design incorporates landscaped courtyards and modern aesthetics, creating a welcoming environment for both work and leisure. The complex already houses popular tenants such as Jon & Vinny’s, A.O.C Tavern, Baltaire, Toscana, Teleferic Barcelona, and Pizzana, reinforcing its role as a vibrant gathering place in the heart of Brentwood. This will be a perfect location for the new Community Goods location.
