Salina, an Italian kitchen where every bite tells a tale of tradition and taste, is preparing to debut in Porter Ranch at 20005 Rinaldi St.
The brand new restaurant is set to open later this year in The Vineyards at Porter Ranch, according to documentation submitted to the Los Angeles City Planning Department. The restaurant will occupy a 3,578 square-foot space with 99 indoor seats and a 705 square-foot outdoor patio offering 28 additional seats. Salina plans to operate from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Vineyards at Porter Ranch is a mixed-use shopping center on approximately 23.7 acres at the northwest corner of Rinaldi Street and Porter Ranch Drive. The property features nearly 1,500 feet of frontage on Rinaldi Street and over 700 feet along Porter Ranch Drive. It includes a range of retail stores, restaurants, a grocery store, a movie theater, and surface parking lots.
The site complies with the Porter Ranch Land Use and Transportation Specific Plan and is surrounded by commercial and residential developments. Salina’s approval is part of a broader entitlement allowing up to 24 alcohol-selling establishments, including grocery stores, theaters, restaurants, and hotels.
Salina will join various restaurants at The Vineyards at Porter Ranch, including Gus’s Barbeque, Lure Fish House, Finney’s Crafthouse & Kitchen, La Popular, and Patxi’s Pizza. The center also features casual options like Chipotle Mexican Grill, Mendocino Farms, and Tomodachi. This diverse mix of dining establishments makes the shopping center a popular destination in the Porter Ranch area.
A public hearing on the request was held virtually on April 29, 2025. The applicant’s representative described Salina as a traditional Italian restaurant that would enhance the center’s current dining options. Following the presentation, the Zoning Administrator confirmed that the request aligned with previously approved land use conditions and granted the approval. No public objections were received.
