A popular local food truck has found a permanent home.

Burger Bros., the smashburger sensation founded by brothers Andrés and Alejandro Salazar, is set to open its first brick-and-mortar eatery at 43 Main St in downtown Winters, reports The Sacramento Bee. Andrés told What Now Sacramento they’re aiming for a soft opening by mid-June 2025.

The restaurant will serve the same favorites that made the food truck popular, with the possible addition of one or two new items, Andrés said. Guests can expect signature smashburgers with lacy edges and juicy centers, available in both single and double patties.

The menu will also feature hot dogs and bacon-wrapped dogs piled high with toppings like jalapeños and grilled onions, along with loaded fries, milkshakes, and sodas.

Burger Bros. first hit the streets in the summer of 2024, after Andrés perfected his smashburger recipe and brought his brother on board. It didn’t take long to make an impression—nearly 2,000 fans now track the brothers’ journey on Instagram.

When the restaurant opens, Burger Bros. plans to serve from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
