Something sweet is in store for Citrus Heights.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is planning its sixth Sacramento-area location at 7855 Madison Ave, Suite C, confirmed a representative from the company. The 2,030-square-foot bakery will be tucked beside a Little Caesars in the Sunrise Village shopping center.

Founded in Las Vegas in 1997, Nothing Bundt Cakes has grown into a national sensation with nearly 700 shops across the United States. Local fans can find nearby bakeries in Elk Grove, Folsom, Roseville, Natomas Village Center, and Arden-Arcade.

Known for their moist, decadent bundt cakes crowned with a unique cream cheese frosting, the sweet shop offers treats in all sizes—from bite-sized Bundtinis and personal Bundtlets to full 8- and 10-inch cakes. Seasonal and specialty flavors like the Lemon Blueberry and Strawberries & Cream add a little extra temptation throughout the year.

Franchisee Irfan Mehmood said that the Citrus Heights shop is scheduled to debut in the fall of 2025, “barring unforeseen circumstances.”
