A trendy Northern California boba chain is growing—and Natomas is next.
Rose Tea Lounge will debut its fifth location at 4760 Natomas Blvd, Suite 140. Justin Nguyen, the brand’s first franchisee, told What Now Sacramento he’s hoping to host a soft opening sometime in the coming weeks.
Founded in 2020, Rose Tea has built a following with its playful yet high-quality approach to boba. The menu centers on milk teas, offering a wide range of both inventive and classic options like brown sugar milk, panna cotta, Oreo, tiramisu, and watermelon. Guests will also find a variety of fruit teas, matcha, and coffee.
“I think when people hear ‘boba tea,’ they just think of milk tea,” said Nguyen. “But Rose Tea brings in different types of floral teas from Taiwan and other countries.”
At Rose Tea, everything is made fresh to order. From real teas to handmade creams, nothing is ever frozen. That commitment to quality shows behind the scenes. “Every day, we’re prepping—almost every hour—to make sure the drinks are as fresh as possible,” Nguyen explained.
The Natomas location will also serve a food menu of craveable light bites, including Taiwanese popcorn chicken, Korean corn dogs, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), fried tofu, customizable French fries, and Dubai chocolate strawberries.
Rose Tea Lounge currently operates four locations in Elk Grove, Stockton, Fremont, and Cupertino, with a San Jose shop also on the way. Both upcoming locations are hiring for baristas, back cooks, and shift leads.
