The dining and music venue will join the Old Fourth Ward next week.
Venkman’s will open in its doors at 740 Ralph McGill Boulevard in Old Fourth Ward on September 14, according to a press release Tuesday.
The dining and entertainment concept from Yacht Rock Revue frontmen Nicholas Niespodziani and Peter Olson, and local chef Nick Melvin, is housed in the former NuGrape Soda Factory.
Niespodziani and Olson will DJ at Venkman’s on Tuesday nights throughout September, with “curated live music performances ramping up in energy and volume as the week progresses,” the announcement revealed.
Melvin, the founder of Doux South Pickles, has designed a menu that features “creative twists on classic comfort cuisine.”
Venkman’s will be open for dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
