Landry’s Seafood House is expanding again, this time with a brand-new restaurant inside William P. Hobby Airport in Houston. According to a permit filed with the city, the project will take over a 3,312-square-foot space at 7800 Airport Blvd, HOUF-11, located within the existing concourse. This new outpost will be franchised by Areas USA.
The plans call for a full interior buildout to transform the space into a full-service dining destination. The scope includes construction of new walls, flooring, ceilings, finishes, and a full bar equipped with commercial-grade bar systems. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work will also be installed from the ground up, all tailored to meet airport operation standards.
The permit lists an estimated construction value of $1.99 million, suggesting a mid- to upscale concept is in the works. The company has a wide range of airport-friendly options in its portfolio, including names like Saltgrass and Bubba Gump, and this new location of Landry’s Seafood House will surely be a welcomed new spot for travelers coming in and out of Houston.
Construction was expected to begin in June 2025 with the project scheduled for completion in October 2025.
