According to recent public records, a new independent restaurant is coming to Leander. Antena Kitchen and Bar will be built up at 2082 North US 183 within Suite # 130.
Construction records examined by What Now reveal that the project “consists of tenant finish out space of 2,680 sft. within an existing shell building to be used as a restaurant.” The $150,000 job is anticipated to be completed by February.
In a brief interview with What Now, owner Anil Annepu says that the restaurant will serve Indian-American fusion. Local readers may be familiar with his existing restaurant, Aroma in Round Rock.
When asked why they decided to open a restaurant in Leander, Annepu points to growth and opportunity.
“We saw that there’s not many Indian restaurants in the area,” he says. d noticed there were a lot of significant developments in the area like a new Costco and Target.
“We hope to open by November 1st,” he states.
