Tram Cream Coffee, a fast-growing Vietnamese coffee and cafe concept, will be opening a second Garden Grove location, the company told What Now OC exclusively. As part of its aggressive Orange County expansion plan announced recently, the town is being targeted for another store.

The current Garden Grove shop, at 9520 Garden Grove Blvd. Unit 1, opened last spring, posts from the company show. That was its third iteration to open, and the business just recently celebrated the opening of its seventh. The rest of its current stores are in Northern California, where the brand is based.

But in recent weeks, Tram Cream Coffee has also confirmed plans to grow in the southern part of the state. What Now OC announced stores are planned for Westminster, Irvine, and Fountain Valley as well. They will all be corporate-owned, part of a larger strategy to build a strong foundation before opening the brand to franchisees.

“OC is a great coffee market, so we will continue to grow from OC into other counties, including LA and San Diego,” said Ryan Hubris, head of development.

Founded in 2022, Tram Cream Coffee’s menu features Vietnamese coffee brewed with traditional techniques, along with cold brew fruit teas. It also features banh mi sandwiches and snacks.
