Last week, What Now San Francisco reported that Haraz Coffee — a coffee house chain “on a mission to share the rich heritage of Yemeni coffee with the world,” per its website — is planning to open its second outpost in San Francisco this summer.
According to a recent article published by the San Francisco Business Times, the upcoming location is part of a much larger expansion planned for the Bay Area.
The Journal reports that the business is developing 15 locations across Northern California and that franchise agreements have been signed for new cafes in Redwood City, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Jose, Palo Alto, and Fremont.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the chain, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “In 2021, Hamzah Nasser set out on a mission to bring a unique coffee experience to life by opening the first Haraz Coffee House in Dearborn, Michigan.”
The statement continues, “Since its humble beginnings, Haraz Coffee House has grown to 20 locations across metro Detroit and other cities with 142 in the pipeline, becoming a symbol of authenticity and excellence in the coffee industry.”
What Now San Francisco reached out to Nasser to gather additional information regarding the upcoming location; however, we were unable to speak before the time of publication.
Opening dates and addresses have not been announced yet. Follow What Now San Francisco on Facebook for updates on this story.
