A dual-branded Marriott hotel featuring an AC Hotel and an Element Hotel has submitted a liquor license application for its forthcoming AC Restaurant and Bar, planned for 25100 North 22nd Lane in Phoenix.
The restaurant and bar will be part of the AC Hotel by Marriott North Phoenix at Norterra, which remains under construction and is expected to be completed in September 2025, according to the application. The license filing is the latest sign of progress at the site, where construction is underway on a combined hotel development spanning more than 160,000 square feet. The hotel will be situated adjacent to the Shops at Norterra in North Phoenix and is expected to cater to both business and leisure guests.
The AC Restaurant and Bar will be among multiple shared amenities offered at the hotel, which will also include a market, event lawn, cabana area, and outdoor bar. Guests will also have access to flexible meeting spaces, fitness facilities, a courtyard lounge, and a saline pool and spa. The property’s first floor layout includes distinct dining areas for both the AC and Element brands, with the AC Hotel featuring a dedicated dining and lounge space.
The hotel will offer a total of 274 rooms, comprising 179 rooms for the AC Hotel and 95 extended-stay rooms for the Element Hotel. Shared hotel facilities will include over 7,800 square feet of meeting space, two suites, studio commons communal rooms, a pickleball court, and Topgolf Swing Suites. The site covers more than three acres and is located within Norterra’s larger 500-acre mixed-use campus, which includes residential, retail, office, and school developments.
The development is led by Jackson-Shaw, a North Texas-based real estate company, in partnership with Holualoa Companies, a Tucson-based real estate investment firm. Hotel management will be handled by Crescent Hotels & Resorts. The project is strategically located near growing commercial activity tied to the nearby Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company plant and other major employers in the corridor.
