Danny Boy’s Famous Original Pizza, the New York-style pizza concept from chef Daniel Holzman, is opening soon in Woodland Hills at 20929 Ventura Boulevard, Unit 25.

The company’s third location is set to open within the Valley Country Market, according to WhatsNewSFV. An exact opening date has not been announced, and What Now Los Angeles has yet to receive additional information from Holzman. This will follow the original counter service shop in Downtown Los Angeles and a standalone location in Westwood Village.

Holzman, a classically trained chef who began his career at age 15 in New York, created Danny Boy’s to bring the East Coast slice experience to Los Angeles. He developed the menu after years of testing recipes, studying pizza techniques, and sourcing ingredients to perfect the classic New York slice.

The menu includes eight signature pies, served whole or by the slice, such as cheese, pepperoni, meatball, white pie with mushrooms, and Sicilian, as well as build-your-own options. Additional offerings include hot hero sandwiches, such as Meatball Parm and Chicken Parm, garlic knots, wings, fresh salads, and Italian ice. Gluten-free Sicilian slices are also available.

The name Danny Boy is a tribute to Holzman’s father, while Famous Original references the classic New York slice shops he frequented growing up. The new Woodland Hills location will be fully accessible and joins a growing lineup of food and beverage tenants in the area.
