Brewery Planned for Kyle

According to recent public records, a new brewery is coming to Kyle.

Grit & Gyle Brewing Co. plans to open at 705 N. Old Highway 81 in Kyle, just north of the city’s downtown.

Construction records examined by What Now delineate a “6250 sf new construction- brewhouse and production building” estimated at around $3 million to build out.

In a recent report, The Business Journal reports that the brewery will be made with brick, stucco and metal paneling. According to city documents, the brewery’s design does not meet a city requirement of at least 90% of the facade consisting of masonry materials.

Ownership was not immediately available for comment.

No opening date has been announced.
