A popular Greek restaurant is broadening its reach with a new location in Charleston.

Platia Greek Goodness is set to take over the Adam’s Kitchen space in Mount Pleasant at 920 Houston Northcutt Blvd., Suite A2, restaurant broker Mike Santos of The Commonwealth Company told What Now Charleston.

The 1,200 square-foot restaurant was sold through listingledge.com

“We’re excited to announce that our location in Mount Pleasant will be opening in early September 2025. This location will feature the same traditional Greek dishes our guests know and love, along with a selection of beer and wine exclusive to this spot,” owner Leonardo Frias told What Now Charleston.

Platia offers a variety of traditional Greek dishes featuring fresh, authentic flavors with local produce.

The menu features signature wraps such as the Classic Gyro, available with grilled chicken, pork, shrimp, lamb bifteki or Impossible Meat, along with the Uncle Gus with roasted tomato sauce and a vegetarian falafel wrap.

Bowls and platters can be customized with proteins such as chicken, pork or shrimp souvlaki, lamb bifteki, Impossible Meat or falafel, paired with fresh salads, spreads such as tzatziki, beet hummus and feta pimiento cheese, and sides including Greek roasted potatoes or avgolemono soup.

Fresh salads include the Classic Greek, Chickpea Spinach and the signature Raspberry Dream. Greek mezes and sides include dolmades, Mediterranean fries, sea salt feta fries and house-made baklava.

This will be the Greek spot’s third location, joining its spots in West Ashley and North Charleston.
