Naked Farmer Targeting The Gulch For First Location In Tennessee

Naked Farmer is looking to expand outside its home state of Florida, with plans to open next year in a 2,300-square-foot space at Prima at Paseo South Gulch, according to the Nashville Business Journal.

Naked Farmer serves farm-to-table New American cuisine. It is known for its focus on a health-focused locally-sourced menu and a direct connection to small- and medium-sized farms. The brand is on a mission to build a better local food system, according to its website. Naked Farmer emphasizes building relationships with local farmers and crafting a seasonal menu from what they supply.

“Under our roof, you’ll find the freshest, most seasonal and locally-sourced food in town. Our chefs handcraft super high quality farm-fresh meals from scratch, placing a heavy emphasis on our favorite thing ever — fresh vegetables,” the Naked Farmer website states. “We partner with farmers we know on a first-name basis to serve veggies harvested days, not weeks, ago. We work with producers that understand exactly where it comes from and the quality of life it’s lived. Whether you’re stopping in for dinner, or grabbing to-go plates for lunch, you’ll taste the difference of our healthy dining experience.”

Current seasonal menu offerings include the Golden Beet & Burrata Salad, the Summer BBQ Chicken Salad, the Surf & Turf Plate, the High Protein Plate (with rosemary roasted chicken breast, grass-fed steak, charred broccoli with lemon and garlic, roasted sweet potatoes and brown rice) and the Classic Naked Plate (with charred chicken, mac & cheese, pecan kale caesar, brown rice with parsley and garlic aioli).

Founded by Jordan Johnson in 2020, the brand currently has eight locations open in Florida. This will be their first out-of-state expansion.
