Austin Proper Prepares for Chicken Salad Chick Debut
Chicken Salad Chick continues its expansion into Central Texas with a new Austin outpost at 1000 E 41st St. Opening on August 26, the new restaurant will bring Chicken Salad Chick’s signature made-from-scratch chicken salads to Hancock.
The menu features a dozen made-from-scratch chicken salad varieties, alongside fresh sides and signature sandwiches. The Austin location’s hours are Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
This is the brand’s second location in greater Austin and its first within the city, following the March opening in Pflugerville. This location is held by Troy Morrison, a leading franchise partner within the brand.
Through his franchise group, Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments, Morrison plans to open 11 locations across the greater Austin area.

The brand supports local causes and will host fundraising events alongside its Austin opening. As part of pre-opening Friends & Family events in Austin, the restaurant will raise funds for B.I.G. Love Cancer Care, which supports families facing childhood cancer in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
Culinary Lineup
Chicken Salad Chick is recognized for more than a dozen made-from-scratch Southern-style chicken salad varieties, fresh sides, gourmet soups, hand-frosted cakes, signature sandwiches, and desserts.
Morrison said, “There’s a clear appetite for fresh, flavorful dining in Austin, and I’m confident residents will love what we’re offering.” The Austin spot will provide dine-in service, takeout, third-party delivery, and catering.

To kick off the launch, the first 100 guests will be awarded free chicken salad for one year. The first guest at 10:00 AM earns a weekly free large Quick Chick for 52 weeks; guests 2–100 receive a single free large Quick Chick each month for 12 months.

- Tuesday, August 26: The first 100 guests in line will receive free chicken salad for a year. The first guest at 10 a.m. will get one large Quick Chick each week for 52 weeks, while guests 2 to 100 will receive one large Quick Chick per month for 12 months.

Guests should arrive early and use the Chicken Salad Chick app to secure one of the first 100 spots for free chicken salad.
If a guest leaves the queue, their place will be passed to the following guest. The first complimentary Large Quick Chick will be sent electronically to each recipient’s app on the Monday after opening and will be valid for 30 days from that date.
