According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, the Korean barbecue and hotpot chain Seapot plans to debut a new outpost in San Jose.
Coming to Northwood Square at 2115 Morrill Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as the fast-food restaurant King Eggroll Express, the cafe Nha HotSpot, and a Walgreens location.
What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Chen Huang — who is also the operator of the local restaurant concept Supreme Crab, known for its all-you-can-eat Cajun-style seafood buffet, and Sea Wagyu House in Milpitas — to learn more about his plans for the upcoming restaurant; however, he could not provide additional information before publication.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, “Seapot is a unique dining experience that offers a revolving hotpot concept to elevate the classic Chinese hotpot tradition,” the eatery shares on its website.
“Enjoy individual pots and a continuous conveyor belt of scrumptious offerings that will leave you craving seconds. We pride ourselves on serving the freshest ingredients, including meats, vegetables, live seafood, and other seasonal items,” the statement continues.
Seapot presently operates locations in California — in Anaheim, Burbank, Cerritos, Daly City, Milpitas, Northridge, Pasadena, San Mateo, and Sunnyvale — in Plano, Texas, and in Troy, Michigan.
