Lids Locker Room is preparing to open at Great Mall in Milpitas, according to Simon’s Great Mall store directory. The retailer is listed as a coming-soon tenant at 447 Great Mall Drive, with the store identified as location 198 near Entrance 3. The mall directory identifies the new store as location 198 and places it near Entrance 3. 

Lids Locker Room is part of Lids, a retailer specializing in officially licensed sports merchandise. According to the company’s website, Lids sells hats, apparel, and other merchandise connected to professional and college sports teams, as well as products from sportswear brands.

The retailer’s product categories include fitted caps, snapbacks, baseball caps, jerseys, T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and accessories. Lids also sells merchandise associated with the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and NCAA, along with products connected to individual teams and athletes. 

Lids offers customization services through its Custom Lids business. The service allows customers to personalize select MLB hats and jerseys with options such as basic embroidery, an embroidered autograph and number, or a collectible patch. Basic embroidery can include 10 to 20 characters in a single thread color, with approximately 25 thread colors available. 

Customers can also choose a premium signature option or one collectible patch, subject to availability. The service is offered at participating Lids stores, with customization options depending on the product, store capabilities, and licensing restrictions.
