Chubby Cattle is preparing to open at Great Mall in Milpitas at 248 Great Mall Drive, according to the restaurant’s website and Simon’s Great Mall directory. The restaurant’s official website lists the Milpitas location as “Coming Soon,” while Simon identifies the space as location 248 near Entrance 2. Chubby Cattle operates restaurants centered on hotpot, barbecue, and shabu shabu. Neither the restaurant’s Milpitas page nor Simon’s current listing provides an opening date.

According to the company’s website, its locations use different formats, with the Milpitas restaurant listed under the brand’s San Francisco-area barbecue locations. The company currently lists other Northern California locations, including Pleasanton and an upcoming restaurant in Santa Clara.

The company’s restaurant concepts focus on meats, seafood, vegetables, noodles, and broths prepared for tabletop cooking. Chubby Cattle’s website highlights Wagyu beef among its offerings and describes the brand’s approach as combining traditional hotpot dining with technology. Simon’s listing similarly describes the restaurant as a dining concept focused on ingredients and technological elements.

Chubby Cattle also operates a range of locations across the United States, with its website listing restaurants in California, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, New York, Georgia, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and other markets. The company separates its locations by concept, including hotpot, barbecue, and shabu shabu.
