Big Green Egg’s signature grilling and community event, EGGtoberfest, is returning on Saturday, October 4. More than 200 Big Green Egg enthusiasts will gather to cook, swap recipes, and showcase their grilling skills.
Big Green Egg Hosts Annual Gathering of EGGheads
EGGtoberfest will feature more than 200 cook teams from across the country, alongside celebrity chefs and Atlanta-area restaurants.
Guests can enjoy live cooking demonstrations, music and entertainment, product showcases, and exclusive merchandise offers. The event will take place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
EGGtoberfest to Support Hunger Relief
This year, EGGtoberfest is supporting the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB). It will help raise awareness and resources to combat hunger throughout Georgia. The net proceeds from the event will be donated to the organization, supporting its cause of fighting hunger.
The ACFB works to fight hunger in 29 counties in metro Atlanta by educating and empowering communities. According to Big Green Egg, the rising costs of household goods and groceries have caused a 60% increase in requests for food assistance over the past three years. That demand has left roughly 820,000 people in the service area facing food insecurity. Supporting the ACFB will ensure that families in need have access to nutritious meals.
