Kaos Hospitality, the team behind Three Thirty Three, is opening two new concepts in Tempe.

212° Shabu Shabu, a restaurant that features shabu shabu dining, will open in Tempe’s The Watermark development at 410 N. Scottsdale Road, in December, according to Greater Phoenix In Business.

Shabu shabu restaurants allow diners to order their choice of thinly-sliced meat or seafood and vegetables. Guests then cook their own food in a pot of boiling water or broth on their table. Different dipping sauces and rice or noodles are included for a truly custom meal.

The hospitality group, led by CEO John DeVries, is also working on Wood & Water, a new seafood house, also located at 410 N. Scottsdale Road at The Watermark. Greater Phoenix In Business reports that the 9,000 square-foot space will feature indoor dining, a patio, and a massive aquarium. Wood & Water is slated to open in late fall of 2026.  Ground breaking and construction has not yet begun on this concept, which will feature Asian-inspired seafood dishes

Kaos Hospitality is fast becoming a major force in the Tempe dining scene. In December 2024, it opened Three Thirty Three, an Asian-inspired steakhouse that serves luxury dishes such as coconut-lime injected king crab legs, and a gold-grade Wagyu tomahawk steak.
