Edo Japanese Grill is bringing noodle bowls, hand rolled sushi, and more to Scottsdale Fashion Square, at 7014 E. Camelback Road.

The Canadian-born restaurant chain will move into a space on the first floor of the upscale fashion center. Located in-between Panda Express and Fired Pie, it’s expected to open in time for Christmas shoppers.

This is the second Arizona location for Edo Japanese Grill. The first opened in Chandler. After Scottsdale,  with a third location opening in Gilbert in 2026.

Arizona Edo owner/partner, Melissa Goudreau, says that the Phoenix areas response to Edo has been very warm. “Arizona feels like home and we have been embraced. We have a good team in place, with a sheer passion for quality and growth.” Goudreau adds choosing to open Edo in Scottsdale was an easy decision. “We have a home here in Arizona and we saw the opportunity.”

Goudreau says she’s been a long fan of Edo in Canada, and is happy to introduce the brand’s freshly cooked concept to Arizonans. “The grill is right there. You can see your food being cooked. You can also customize anything. I think the freshness will go far in this area, as it has in Canada.”

Edo, which has more than 200 locations in Canada, offers hot teppanyaki meals, fresh off the grill, bento boxes, noodle bowls, hand-rolled sushi, poke bowls, and more.
