A popular fast-casual chain is getting ready to alight in the DFW, providing delicious sustenance to weary travelers. Whataburger has filed paperwork to open a new location in the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, news that is certain to delight anyone passing through the transportation hub.
The fast-food favorite will be setting up shop in a renovated space in 2141 South International Parkway’s Terminal B. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that work will begin on the 3,102 square foot storefront on December 8 of this year and should conclude by June 5 of 2026-a positive indicator for a summer opening.
Whataburger’s DFW Airport location is in capable hands; the storefront will be helmed by Star Concessions, an award-winning operator of retail and dining facilities. Star Concessions has more than 70 operating units, ensuring that Whataburger will be run adeptly and smoothly.

The chain came to life in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1950 and has grown to more than 1,500 locations across the United States.
