An Auburn-based brewery is on the move once again.
Knee Deep Brewing Company is opening its third location inside the Westfield Galleria at Roseville, taking over the former Gordon Biersch Tavern space at 1151 Galleria Blvd. The news follows the brewery’s recent expansion into Folsom, where Knee Deep Brewing Taphouse & Grill debuted in the Broadstone Plaza on Oct. 25.
“Roseville, you’re next! Get ready to shop and sip,” the team announced this week on social media. “Knee Deep Brewing’s fine craft beers is coming to you, right in the heart of Westfield Galleria! We hope you’re just as excited as we are. Cheers!
“
The brewery is known for its hoppy West Coast-style IPAs, including the popular double, triple, and quad varieties. The Auburn taproom currently operates with a bring-your-own-food model and rotating food trucks, while the Folsom kitchen is slated to begin construction soon and will serve pizzas, burgers, and sandwiches before the end of the year.
CEO Jerry Moore told What Now Sacramento that the new Roseville taproom, projected to seat 45 to 50 guests, will showcase Knee Deep’s full lineup. “We’re not cutting short on beer,” he said. “We’ll have 32 handles, and most days there will be 32 different beers. Whatever’s available in Auburn and Folsom will be available in Roseville.”
Due to limited kitchen space, the Roseville location won’t feature an extensive food menu, but the focus will be on Mexican fare—an offering Moore noted is currently lacking at the Galleria. The team is still fine-tuning the dishes and plans to add a few additional snacks in addition to the primary lineup.
The project is currently in the design phase, and construction is expected to move quickly. If all goes smoothly, the team will launch Knee Deep Roseville in late January or early February 2026. For the latest updates, follow @kneedeepbrewco on social media.
