Goodwill of Orange County has opened a new thrift store and donation center in Foothill Ranch, marking another step in its local growth. This store marks the 25th retail location in Orange County and the second in Lake Forest.
Goodwill of Orange County Opens Its Doors in Foothill Ranch
The new store and donation center at 26542 Towne Centre Drive spans 20,000 square feet. The Foothill Ranch community can visit for clothing, home décor, accessories and other treasures.
The store features Goodwill OC’s signature modern interior, including sleek fixtures, eye-catching wall art, hanging displays, and a textile-stuffed illuminated sign.
Goodwill OC Board Members, elected officials, 100+ community leaders, and thrifters from the county attended the opening event. Lake Forest Mayor Scott Voigts was among the featured guests at the November 13 celebration.
Guests enjoyed photo opportunities, refreshments, and gift card giveaways, capped by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and VIP reception.

Every purchase and donation at Goodwill of Orange County is of great help to its programs meant for job skills and employment opportunities. At the latest Foothill Ranch facility, a drive-up Donation Center, making it easy to drop off gently used items that support Goodwill OC’s mission.
The many retail outposts and donation centers collectively help the nonprofit group to generate operating revenue and power workforce development programs for the community members.
Nearly 94 cents of every dollar spent at Goodwill OC goes directly to its mission programs.

- Sunday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Donation Hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Goodwill of Orange County celebrated its 100th yearly anniversary in 2024. Over the years, Goodwill OC has provided on-site job coaching, training and education programs, veteran services, and supportive employment for people with developmental or physical disabilities.
The nonprofit group currently manages a collection of 25 Orange County retail venues. This includes five OC Goodwill Boutiques and their e-commerce platform, which supports the organization’s programs and services.
