A Roseville burger mainstay is hitting the road.

Squeeze Burger, which has operated at 106 N Sunrise Ave, Suite C1 since 2010, recently announced that it will transition to full-time food truck operations early next year after its proposal to renew its lease was rejected.

“Our final day operating at our current location will be Saturday Jan. 24th, 2026,” owner Charles Rogers shared in a Facebook post, adding that he’ll shift his attention to the food truck as he scouts a new space to lease or buy.

The restaurant first signaled the change in September, explaining that its lease expires at the end of January and that negotiations hadn’t landed where they’d hoped. In the post, the team thanked customers for more than 15 years of support.

The star of Squeeze Burger’s menu is the namesake “squeeze” burger, a classic patty topped with the restaurant’s signature fried-cheese skirt. The menu also includes sandwiches, squeeze dogs, tacos, fries, and milkshakes.

What Now Sacramento has reached out to Rogers for more details on potential new locations, the future of the brick-and-mortar, and plans for the food truck schedule. Stay tuned for updates.

“I am excited and looking forward to this change and what the future holds for my business moving forward,” Rogers wrote. “THANK YOU to everyone who has supported my business over the past 15 years and that will continue to support us moving forward as well.”
