“South Austin is getting a brand-new golf + lounge experience! If you love golf or just want a fun new spot to hang out, Southside Golf Co. is opening soon in Manchaca, TX—and it looks amazing,” said a Facebook reel by Steff Bartone published earlier this year.
The new attraction from golf pro Justin Aragon will include TrackMan golf simulators, Smart Diamon pool tables, and “a full lounge + chill hangout space,” offering “the perfect vibe for date night, friend meetups, or a quick after-work swing session.” Expect plenty of beer and wine to complete the picture.
Originally expected to open before the end of this year, Southside Golf Co. has faced some delays, Justin Aragon told What Now in a phone conversation on Friday.
“In the meantime, I’ve moved into doing some merchandise sales. We might even start doing a mobile shop, maybe a few pop-ups.”
You can already shop the collection at Southside Supply. More details about the opening in South Austin are expected in the new year, but for now, stay tuned!
