Local pop-up Ofelia will be opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 12South.

The brand serves fare inspired by Mexico City, focusing on tacos, margaritas and salsas. Owner Max Adler confirmed the plans with What Now Nashville. The space should be open by late January.

Menu items include prime ribeye tacos, zucchini and corn tacos and chicken tacos. The brand describes itself as “authentic, elevated, local” on its Instagram page.

The space, formerly home to Nashville Street Taco at 2500 12th Ave. S., will feature bright pink walls, 20 bar seats, 20 table seats and, eventually, outdoor seating, according to Nashville Business Journal.
