Port of Subs, a Nevada-based sandwich shop that specializes in quality items and friendly service, is opening in Buckeye and Surprise.
Franchisees Heather and Lee Kroll are opening both shops, with Lee Kroll confirming a March 2026 opening date for both locations to What Now Phoenix.
The Buckeye shop will be located at 840 N. Verrado Way, along with a restaurant at Loop 303 and Cactus in Surprise. The sandwich shop is growing rapidly in Arizona. According to a Linkedin post by Lee Kroll, Port of Subs’s plan is to have a total of 70 locations in the Phoenix area in the near future.
Port of Subs offers classic cold subs like an Italian sub, and turkey and cheese. It also sells hot signature subs, such as meatball marinara and a chicken melt. The fast casual restaurant also sells wraps, salads, breakfast, and makes sandwich trays for parties and meetings.
More than a sandwich shop, Port of Subs prides itself as having a culture of exceptional customer service and community involvement. The restaurant offers charity groups, schools, and more the opportunity to host fundraisers to raise money for projects. If also offers employees flexible scheduling, substantial training, and the ability to grow with the company.
