Meyhouse, a Bay Area restaurant focused on Turkish cuisine and live jazz, is getting ready to open a new location in San Ramon at 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road.

The company’s third location is planned for City Center Bishop Ranch and is expected to open in Winter 2026, according to Eater SF. Owned by Omer Artun and Koray Altinsoy, the San Ramon restaurant will expand the brand’s presence into the East Bay while continuing its dual focus on food and live music. While an exact opening date has not been announced, the location is expected to operate as both a full-service restaurant and a jazz venue. Customers can expect the same Turkish-inspired menu prepared with California-sourced ingredients.

Meyhouse first opened in Palo Alto in August 2023 after transitioning from a pop-up concept into a brick-and-mortar restaurant. The concept quickly gained traction, leading to a second location in Sunnyvale. Live jazz programming was later added to the Palo Alto restaurant, further shaping the brand’s identity. The San Ramon opening marks Meyhouse’s first move into the East Bay.

The restaurant draws inspiration from the traditional Turkish meyhane, a social dining format centered around shared plates, conversation, and music. Meyhouse has positioned itself as a gathering place that blends cultural elements with a contemporary dining setting. This will be an excellent landing space for the brand, given City Center Bishop Ranch’s mix of dining, retail, and office traffic.

The menu is built around meze-style small plates, seafood dishes, and grilled items, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. Meyhouse’s approach combines Turkish culinary traditions with modern techniques, resulting in a menu designed for sharing. The beverage program complements the food with options intended to pair well with both the cuisine and live music setting.

Artun and Altinsoy continue to oversee the brand’s growth as it expands beyond its original Peninsula footprint. The San Ramon location reflects the company’s confidence in expanding its restaurant-and-music-focused concept to a broader regional audience. Additional details about programming and events are expected to be shared closer to opening.
