Cup Noodles is rolling out a less-messy way to enjoy chicken wing flavors just in time for the Super Bowl. The brand is launching three chicken wing–inspired flavors: Spicy Buffalo with Ranch, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan. The lineup aims to deliver familiar wing flavors without the usual mess and stained shirts.
Taste Without the Cleanup
According to Nissin Foods, the maker of Cup Noodles, Chicken wings rank among the messiest foods. People use about eight napkins per dozen wings, but around nine in ten people still end up with sauce coating their hands. Cup Noodles is addressing the mess and launching wings-inspired flavors, where customers can enjoy the taste of Chicken Wings without worrying about spills.
Tapping into the country’s obsession with the food item, Cup Noodles is launching three wing-inspired ramen flavors, according to PRNewswire. Spicy Buffalo with Ranch delivers the heat and tang of the buffalo sauce, paired with the creamy, herby flavor of the ranch.
Another flavor, Lemon Pepper’s lemony tang and black pepper, is rounded out with hints of garlic and onion. Lastly, the Garlic Parmesan is rich with garlic and Italian herbs, offering a light tang and mild spice.
“Americans love wings just as much as they love football; they just don’t love the collateral damage,” said Senior Vice President of Marketing, Priscila Stanton.
“Between stained shirts, messy hands, and sauce splatter, traditional wings create more cleanup than enjoyment for many fans. Cup Noodles Wings delivers bold, game day flavors in a convenient, mess-free format that’s perfect for snacking before, during, or after the Big Game — no sticky fingers, no laundry disasters, just pure flavor,” Stanton added.
